It’s Tuesday again, and you know what that means! Oh boy, we are already into the second week of Work Out with Jackie Warner.
Jackie is telling us about last year and her pilot Sky Lab project. This year, a lot of changes need to made before she finalizes opening her Sky Lab facility. Jackie introduces us to a few of the Sky Labbers:
Paisley: The southern belle who won’t lift a finger
Deenie: The heaviest, and youngest. Jackie has the hardest time with youngsters (unless she is doing them)
Shannon: An existing client of Jackie’s, who is tough and dedicated.
Natalie: The most normal. She is pretty heavy but has a positive outlook.
Jackie explains to them how obesity is debilitating and it puts everyone’s lives on hold. When you change your body, you change your chemistry, which changes your energy, which changes your life. (That’s a pretty good way to look at things)
One of Jackie’s changes is the addition of Dr. Robert Huizenga, who is there to do a medical evaluation for her Sky Labbers. It’s important that she have a medial basis for what she is doing.
They do body fat measurements for the clients, and we meet the rest of the group:
Tyra: Has a ton of backfat. Has had a ton of visceral fat(organ fat), which increases risk of diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, and cancer. Tyra explains that most of her weight was gained following Hurricane Katrina.
