Alli is here, bring on the diapers!

So today is the day, alli (Xenical) goes OTC. Even early this week, I had stopped by a few pharmacies, and saw boxes of alli just waiting to be sold. At face value, one might think, okay, well the notion of health and fitness is going to go to hell in a handbasket. People will just use the pill as a substitute for proper eating and exercise.

You know what, I bet a lot will. But, they need to be aware of the consequences: the oily discharge, loose stools, etc.

    I just have to shake my head at yet another weight loss people — unfortunately many will waste their money on it, others will abuse it and over use it, and few will listen to the tiny voice of wisdom that says weight loss won’t happen because of a PILL! (even the ads for this thing say you have to eat less and exercise!) Oh well – all we can do is try to be a voice of sanity in a sea of nonsense and advertisers and others with their hands our for our hard earned money. Lady Rose

    Why not just cut some calories, get more active and avoid spending the money on diapers.

    I am wondering if this would work for me, since for the last 14 years, I have followed the Ornish diet, and eat no more than 5 grams of fat per meal, and still need to lose about 15 lbs.

    trust me, from someone that has tried every diet imaginable, to find a weight loss pill that actually works is amazing. wearing diapers is a small price to pay when all else has failed
